Lobia ke kofte instructions
- Boil lobia for 10-15 minutes or until cooked.
- Grind it by adding some water.
- Take out in a bowl, add boiled raw banana. Mash it.
- Add rest of the ingredients given for kofta, except oil.
- Sprinkle water little by little and make semi solid batter.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- For gravy heat up oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute.
- Add onion paste, fry till it gets brown colour and oil separates.
- Add, chilli, turmeric, coriander powder along with salt, let it fry for few minutes.
- Add tomato puree, cover and simmer till oil starts floating on top, add almond paste.
- Adjust the seasoning.
- Take out kofta batter from the refrigerator.
- Take small quantity and shape them as desired. Batter should not be too dry otherwise koftas will break while frying..
- Deep fry on medium flame.
- Add kasuri methi powder in prepared gravy switch off the flame..
