Homemade Pongal (Ven Pongal, Ghee Pongal) Recipe step by step
- Wash the rice and moong dal and put it in pressure cooker to boi. Note that you need to add to extra water for boiling.
- Wait for atleast 3-4 whistles for the rice to bowl.
- Take a big pan and add ghee to it..
- Add cashew, jeera, pepper, green chilly, di patta, adadequate salt as per your need. Saute it well.
- After 2-3 mins, add the rice. Mix it well. Serve it hot.
