  1. You need 1 packet of mushroom.
  2. Prepare 1 cup of peas.
  3. It's 1 cup of corn.

  7. Prepare 2 of Green chillies.
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.

  22. You need 2 of star anise.

  24. Prepare As required of Kesar milk.

You can also make the biryani in a pressure cooker. Usually seeraga samba rice is used while making most biryanis in South India. But you can also use basmati rice instead of seeraga samba rice. Since I do not get seeraga samba rice, I have used basmati rice.

Mushroom peas and corn biryani step by step

  1. Put onions, green chillies, jeera and garam masala in little oil and ghee.
  2. Add tomatoes to the above mixture.
  3. Add green peas.
  4. Add corn and put all the masala and water.
  5. Add mushrooms and capsicum to this.
  6. Cook the above and add kotmir leaves and pudina.
  7. In another pan make onion barista...fry onions till dark brown and put on tissue paper.
  8. In a pot boil rice with all spices and biryani masala.
  9. Drain the rice when half cooked.
  10. Grease the vessel with ghee and put gravy first, then rice, then put fried onions, kotmir leaves and pudina leaves, kesar milk and repeat the process for 3 layers..now put the biryani on medium flame for 10 mins.
  11. Now our biryani is ready..garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot..
