- Heat the oil in a wok.
- When the oil is hot add the cut okra and a teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes till the outer surface of the okra becomes soft.
- When the okra becomes soft, reduce the flame to ‘medium’ and add in the powder spices and the chopped onion.
- Cover and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Open the lid and give it a mix. Add salt as per your taste and cover and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
