Ingredients of Bharwa bhindi
- Prepare of m bhindi/ lady finger.
- It's of mustard oil.
- Prepare of tspn turmeric powder/ haldi.
- Prepare of tspn amchur powder.
- Prepare of tspn cumin seeds.
- It's of Salt as per taste.
- You need of tspn red chilli powder.
- You need of n half tspn corriander powder.
- You need of tspn garam masala.

Bharwa bhindi (in hindi bharwa = stuffed, bhindi = okra) is a versatile recipe and the ingredients can be tweaked based on what you have in your pantry. I am posting bharwa bhindi recipe with besan, onions and loads of peanuts which lend a lovely crunch to this gluten free, vegan dish. It is a Punjabi dish which is nothing but stuffed Okra. It can be stuffed with dry spices and cooked in little oil or the stuffed okra can be cooked with an onion and tomato masala to make Bharwa Bhindi Masala.
Bharwa bhindi instructions
- Wash and nicely dry the bhindi.. Cut them from the middle length wise such a way that it would not divide in two parts...
- In a bowl mix all the dry masala along with ginger and green chillies...
- Fill the mixed masala properly in bhindi...
- Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds and than the filled bhindi and cover the pan...
- After 6-7 minutes remove the cover and turn all the bhindi upside down very carefully so the masala won't come out and they can cook from every side.. Cover it again for 6-7 minutes and switch off the flame.. Let it cover for more 3-4 minutes.. our masala bhindi are ready to serve.. Enjoy them with chappatis...
