Ingredients of Bharwa bhindi

  1. Prepare of m bhindi/ lady finger.
  2. It's of mustard oil.
  3. Prepare of tspn turmeric powder/ haldi.
  4. Prepare of tspn amchur powder.

  6. It's of Salt as per taste.

  8. You need of n half tspn corriander powder.

Bharwa bhindi (in hindi bharwa = stuffed, bhindi = okra) is a versatile recipe and the ingredients can be tweaked based on what you have in your pantry. I am posting bharwa bhindi recipe with besan, onions and loads of peanuts which lend a lovely crunch to this gluten free, vegan dish. It is a Punjabi dish which is nothing but stuffed Okra. Bharwa bhindi instructions

  1. Wash and nicely dry the bhindi.. Cut them from the middle length wise such a way that it would not divide in two parts...
  2. In a bowl mix all the dry masala along with ginger and green chillies...
  3. Fill the mixed masala properly in bhindi...
  4. Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds and than the filled bhindi and cover the pan...
  5. After 6-7 minutes remove the cover and turn all the bhindi upside down very carefully so the masala won't come out and they can cook from every side.. Cover it again for 6-7 minutes and switch off the flame.. Let it cover for more 3-4 minutes.. our masala bhindi are ready to serve.. Enjoy them with chappatis...
