Here hakka noodles refers to both the final dish and the type of noodles used. There are a lot of brands selling hakka noodles. I have used many a Variety of Veggies including shredded Cabbage. You can cook Soya Hakka Noodles using 14 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve it.
Ingredients of Soya Hakka Noodles
- Prepare of Soya Chunks.
- It's of Ching's Egg Noodles.
- You need of Salt.
- It's of Chilli Garlic sauce.
- Prepare of Black Pepper Powder.
- Prepare of Lemon juice.
- Prepare of Garlic Cloves sliced.
- It's of Tomatoes finely chopped or Tomato puree.
- Prepare of Spring Onion Greens.
- You need of a Cabbage shredded.
- You need of Capsicums thinly sliced.
- It's of Soy Sauce.
- Prepare of Coriander Leaves finely chopped.
- It's of Oil.
It's quite a nutritious one too because of the presence of beautiful Soya Chunks. Hakka noodles are tossed in with vegetable juliennes, chilies, spring onions, crushed white pepper and a dash of chili oil. These noodles taste wonderful served with vinegar, chili and soya sauces. Soya Hakka Noodles instructions
- Add Soya Chunks to a bowl with hot water. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes. Squeeze them a little bit to remove all the extra water. Keep aside. Heat Oil in a Kadai. Saute Garlic at first. Now add Vegetables one by one. Also add Chilli Garlic and Soy Sauces..
- Also add some Black Pepper Powder and saute everything on a medium high heat. Keep stirring it every now and then. Do not over cook. Let them retain the Crunch..
- Add the Soya Chunks now. Mix well and let it cook on a low heat for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile boil Noodles in enough water with Salt and Oil. Drain and add to the kadai. Give it all a good mix. Take care to do that with light hands. Don't forget to check on Salt and Pepper to adjust accordingly..
- Fluff it up with a Pasta Ladle and serve immediately. Enjoy!.
