Ingredients of Achari Gobhi

  1. It's of Medium Cauliflower (Cut into small florets).
  2. Prepare of Oil.
  3. Prepare of Onion (Chopped).
  4. You need of Ginger Garlic Paste.
  5. Prepare of Tomato Puree.
  6. You need of Curd.
  7. Prepare of Achari Masala.
  8. Prepare of Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder.
  9. It's of Salt.
  10. It's of Lemon Juice.

This AchaariGobi is a simple, hearty and comfy dish made with Cauliflower. This dry vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free side dish goes well with steamed rice or naan. I made this 'Achaari Aloo Gobi' aka 'Pickled Potato Cauliflower' to keep things easier and simple. You can eat this with rice, or with some naan bread.

Achari Gobhi step by step

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add the washed and drained gobhi florets and saute till slightly brown. Remove from the pan and set aside..
  2. Add the remaining oil in the same pan. Add the onions and saute till slightly brown..
  3. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute..
  4. Add the tomato puree and curd and saute for a minute..
  5. Add the achari masala, red chilli powder, salt and half cup of water and saute for a minute. (Since I was putting kashmiri red chilli powder, dry mango powder and salt in the recipe, I deleted it when making the achari masala). You can prepare the achari masala as per the recipe given above and store it and use when required. You can use it in dal and curries too..
  6. Add the fried gobhi. Cover and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes..
  7. Add lemon juice and dry mango powder. Mix it well..
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves..
  9. Serve hot with rice, dal or roti, paratha, naan etc..
