It is a perfect, easy to carry dish for long journeys and picnic and brings a welcome break from routine stuffed alu paratha as it has little spicy touch. The whole wheat parathas are stuffed with grated radish cooked with a range of spices and spice powders. The whole wheat flour dough is also enhanced with a dash of carom seeds, which get toasted and give out an awesome aroma when the parathas are cooked. After oil gets heated, add carom seeds.

Stuffed Cheesy Mooli Paratha step by step

  1. Make a soft dough using all the above ingredients nicely keep it aside fr 20min.
  2. For mooli stuffing add oil in pan. When heated add rai, ginger paste, green chilli, heeng. When crackles add besan and off the flame. Stir continuously or besan will get burnt.Add grated mooli and add all the spices (red chilli and dhania powder and mix nicely... When nicely cooked add red chilli flakes, amchoor and garam masala. Garnish with green coriander.ur filling is ready..
  3. Take 2small portion of dough and roll it to small puris. Keep the mooli filling in middle and grate cheese on top..
  4. Cover it with another puri and close all the sides pressing with finger. With help of fork just press the sides all the round. Gives a good look and makes paratha very attractive. Put on heated griddle. Spread oil and cook golden brown and crispy from both sides.
  5. Serve with any chutney, achhaar or sabzi. Stuffed parathas loaded cheese just melts in ur mouth..

After few seconds, add grated radish and fry on low flame till all moisture from radish evaporates. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chili powder and mix well. Take a good amount of the mooli stuffing and place it on one of the rolled dough. Don't use too much stuffing as in that case the mooli parathas can break while rolling. Sprinkle evenly one or two pinch of salt, red chilli powder and garam masala powder.
