  1. Soak Black Chanaovernight for 7 hours..
  2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and temper it with mustard seeds, fennel seeds and cloves. To it add chopped onions and saute well..
  3. Now add chopped tomatoes and saute till it becomes mushy. To it add Sambhar powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste and soaked Chanaand mix well. Add 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 20 minutes..
